I hate that you can’t leave work at the time you are supposed to leave work.

Nay, you have to hang about looking busy for at least 10 minutes so you don’t look like a clock-watcher.

And that’s a load of horse-hockey.

The worst part is that your boss usually wants to talk to you at kiss-off time and all you can think about is all the traffic on 270 that you’ll be sitting in because you missed your window of opportunity to cruise on down to 44.

I almost got killed today by an F-250 who decided that he didn’t want to merge into traffic off the on-ramp behind me – NO, he had to get in front of me and push me into the next lane, regardless of what semi-truck was already occupying the lane.

Jerkbag.

And I would have totally missed that experience had I been able to leave on time.
