It might sound like common sense but often times common sense eludes me. For some hellish reason I got the song “LICK IT UP” stuck in my head at work the other day. You might remember this being the first single KISS released after losing their makeup and exposing themselves for the ugly mothers they really were.

So I asked my boss if she remembered the crappy moment in the 80s when KISS ruined themselves (yea I know, they already sucked). She didn’t remember. I asked if she remembered the single “LICK IT UP”. She didn’t, so I made to choice to SING A FEW BARS. The exact lyrics from above are the gems I recited.

I took the blank stare and request that I leave her office to mean that she hadn’t, in fact, remembered the song, “LICK IT UP”. What the hell is wrong with me?
